About the Unit
The Adult Mental Health Unit provides case management services to adults in Scott County with a serious and persistent mental illness. The focus of these services is to help individuals thrive in their communities; maintaining stability and maximizing self-sufficiency. The Adult Mental Health community support center in Scott County is called the Anchor Center.
Case Management
Case management services are available to help adults with serious and persistent mental illness gain access to needed medical, social, educational, vocational, and other necessary services. Case managers help individuals develop a community support plan. They also refer and assist the individual in obtaining needed mental health, and other, services, ensuring coordination, and monitoring the delivery of, services.To make a referral, please call Health and Human Services Central Intake at 952-445-7751
Anchor Center
The Anchor Center is a community support program that offers social, educational and recreational activities to Scott County residents 18-years-old and older with mental health needs. The Anchor Center is located at 752 Canterbury Road South, Shakopee.

Scott County Mobile Crisis Response Services (952) 818-3702
On April 2nd, Canvas Health became Scott County’s Mobile Crisis program. Responders from Canvas Health will be located at the Scott County Government Center, but are able to respond to a person’s home, school, or anywhere in the community 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Scott County residents are encouraged to contact Mobile Crisis Response if they or someone they care about is experiencing a mental health crisis. More information on Scott County Crisis Response Services.
