Covid vaccination information

Free Testing In Shakopee

Masks are required at the testing clinic.

Feeling sick with symptoms that match COVID-19? A free COVID testing option is now available in Shakopee to all Scott County residents. 

Nasal swab test results are available in about 30 minutes, but participants should know the entire appointment could last closer to an hour.  After the nasal swab, we ask participants wait in their car for the results.  Printed results will be provided, but we are unable to provide digital (text or emails) results at this time.

  • When: Every Monday - Thursday, 8:00 - 11:30am (clinic closes at 12:00pm)
    The final appointment available is at 11:30am. We cannot take walk-ins after 11:30am due to staff capacity. 

  • Where: Shakopee Library - 1st Floor Large Meeting Room

  • Registration: At this time, pre-registration is recommended but not required. Walk-ins are welcome, but testing slots are limited. Please call the Hotline at 952-818-3730 with questions about availability.

Ready for your COVID-19 Vaccine? 

Scott County Public Health is here to help you and your loved ones stay protected from COVID-19. Here's what you need to know:

  • Ages 5-11: We're only offering the Pfizer vaccines for ages 5-11 in specific clinics. See "Upcoming Clinics" for details. 
  • Ages 12 and Older: We offer both the Pfizer (for ages 12+) and Moderna vaccines (for ages 18+). If you have a preference, please read each clinic's description carefully while registering to check which vaccine is being administered. 
  • Boosters: Check our "Booster Shots & Third Doses" tab for information about booster shots.
